Hixon Zuercher Capital Management is proud to announce that Senior Wealth Advisor and Certified Financial Planner™ Jessica Hinks has been named 20 Under 40 honoree for 2025.
Each year since 1996, the 20 Under 40 Leadership Recognition Program has celebrated dynamic young professionals from Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan who are making significant contributions in their careers and communities. The program recognizes individuals under the age of 40 who demonstrate exceptional leadership, service, and professional excellence.
At Hixon Zuercher Capital Management, Hinks brings her passion for finance and business to helping clients build and protect their futures. She has guided her clients through two major post-COVID bear markets, providing calm leadership and reassurance during times of economic uncertainty.
Beyond financial advising, Hinks is a thought leader in the industry. She is the author of The Everyday Advisor blog and a regular guest on The Wealth Mindset Show podcast, where she helps listeners and reader to simplify complex financial concepts and makes them actionable for everyday investors.
Hinks began her finance career in Dayton, Ohio before joining Hixon Zuercher Capital Management in Findlay in 2019. Her goal as an advisor and blogger is to make financial planning approachable, proactive, and empowering, helping clients feel confident in pursuing and maintaining their financial freedom.
Jessica has involvement in the following: National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), Handbags That Help Philanthropic Circle, YMCA Youth Soccer (Coach), and Hancock Leadership Graduate Class of 2024. She has also earned Investopedia 100: List of Most Influential Financial Advisors in the U.S two times in the past five years.

“Nominations are received for young professionals who live and work in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. An extensive communications effort is done to obtain nominations from around the region. It is aimed at prospective nominees in 19 counties in northwest Ohio (Allen, Crawford, Defiance, Erie, Fulton, Hancock, Hardin, Henry, Huron, Lucas, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert , Wyandot, Wood, Williams, and 3 counties in southeast Michigan (Hillsdale, Lenawee, and Monroe).
Candidate profiles are reviewed by an independent judging panel consisting of a diverse group of leaders in the community, often including 20 Under 40 Alumni. Judges are rotated so that each year a new group of community leaders is involved with the judging process. The panel reviews these profiles using a judging rubric to review and select the 20 award recipients. Top quality candidates will have demonstrated a high level of achievement, whether in their career or community service or a combination of the two.” No compensation was provided either directly or indirectly.
